Every Sunday for over 30 years, churches across North America have been taught God's WORD through the "Weekly Bible Study in American Sign Language."  The 2011/12 Winter quarter lessons are from Numbers & Deuteronomy. The cost is $75.00 for the entire Winter.  The studies follow the outlines from "LifeWay" on the "Explore the Bible" series. American Sign Language is a beautiful language all on it's own.  The teacher for the Weekly Bible Study in ASL teaches the lesson without audio at first.  After teaching the lesson Donnie goes back over the lesson and interprets it into audio English as it is then added to the video.  In this way the deaf can gains an understanding of God's Word in their own language and the hearing are able to understand as well.  

Dr. Wiltshire is well known among Christian deaf people.  He has pastored deaf congregations in Fort Worth, Brownwood, and Corpus Christi, Texas as well as at the First Baptist Church of Memphis, Tennessee, and in New Orleans, Louisiana.  He graduated from Howard Payne University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has a Doctor of Theology degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  He is the author and editor of a number of books on the history of deaf work among Southern Baptists.  He is the Consultant on Special Ministries for the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina.  He is married to his wife Irma and they have three children, Kyle, Wendy, and Gena
